Useful for anxiety & insomnia. Can be used as a mouth wash for inflammations of the mouth such as, gingivitis & as an eye wash for inflamed, sore eyes. As a gargle it can be helpful for sore throats. To clear nasal inflamation, use as a steam. Externally, speeds wound healing. It’s relaxing properties ease flatulence & dyspeptic pain.
For digestive problems, drink a brew of chamomile flowers after a meal. Use a stronger infusion or decoction for mouth / eyewashes. 1/2 cup of flowers to 4 pints for a steam bath.
Take 2-4 ml. of chamomile tinctured 3 times daily.
